“Dr Jason Pirozzolo and Kelly Grzybowski , NP provided me with exceptional care when I came into Advanced Urgent Care with fevers, chills, and back pain. The nurse first placed an IV (to only stick me once), drew blood off the IV, gave me fluids for I was severely dehydrated, and they did a renal ultrasound. The imaging showed I had an infected kidney stone ~24mm in size, and both Dr. Jason & Kelly, NP recommended I go to the hospital for IV antibiotics and intervention. Their guidance, care and advice saved my kidney from failing, for the ureter was blocked causing hydronephrosis. I ended up having surgery at Kendall hospital in Miami to remove the stone. These providers showed compassion and understanding. While other providers back home had just given me antibiotics for UTI-like symptoms, Dr. Jason & Kelly, NP knew imaging was necessary. They even contacted me while I was in the hospital to see how I was doing. I am so incredibly thankful for these providers here in Key West!”

They all were so caring and detailed during all my questions and tests. Gabby was so welcoming and helped with my intake questions and initial EKG test. Taneisha somehow made the experience of receiving respiratory swabs easier by keeping a smile on her face and mine. Dr. Jason was extremely thorough when he came in to explain everything they were checking for and when I could expect notes on any findings. Enzo and Donna were professional and helpful during my echo ultrasound. The front desk staff were also very friendly. “I’ve been in to see Dr. Pirozzolo at OHSA before, but this time was for my hand. Recently, I had issues opening my palm fully, turns out it was trigger finger. I was hoping I didn’t need surgery, and know Dr. Pirozzolo would be honest with me. Luckily, he said an injection to help with the release should do the trick! It was pretty fascinating to watch. I was numbed a bit, then using an ultrasound, he was able to see where the needle was going to put the solution in. It was painless and almost immediately after I was able to open and close my palm. “Thank goodness a friend referred me to Dr. Jason Pirozzolo at Orlando Hand Surgery Associates. I have been having shoulder aches for the last 5 months, hoping it would go away on its own. He gave me a cortisone injection and taught me some light exercises to do at home to help heal, but not to overdo it (which is hard because I’m usually so active). I put ice on it and figured it would be okay. Later that night it was bruised and started swelling and was getting more painful. My aunt had visited Orlando Hand Surgery Associates and Dr. Jason Pirozzolo before and recommended I see him before heading back home. He confirmed that I had fractured it with X-rays, but luckily he thought I may heal over 2-3 months with my cast and a splint. He had me in and out of there in no time and I was able to enjoy the last few days of vacation.”

“The whole team at OHSA were great! It was my first time seeing Dr. Pirozzolo so I wasn’t sure what to expect. But the moment I walked in the wonderful lady at the front desk attended to me right away. My appointment was at 8am but I got there at 7:30 to do paperwork and the waiting room was already full of people. They were being called back right away so my wait time was not long at all and I was taken back before 8. Once I was called back the x-ray technician took x-rays of my hands and had me in the doctors office literally in minutes. My primary doctor told me the pain in my hands were caused by age (I’m only 49) and there is nothing he can do for me about the swelling and pain. Dr Pirozzollo told me exactly what was wrong with my hands and fingers and was able to give me a shot that would relieve all the pain and swelling I was experiencing. You’re able to fill out all the paperwork online prior to your appointment, which speeds up the process. They also take x-rays on site, which is awesome! The doctor is able to look at the x-rays right at your appointment and let you know what’s wrong. I ended up spraining my thumb severely and needed to get back to bowling ASAP. Dr. P. was able to fix me up fairly quickly with some added physical therapy and I’m back to bowling, as good as new!
