Aircraft Fuel Coach for Pilots (“the App”) is an informational tool intended solely to support pilot decision-making. The App is NOT a substitute for: (i) the Pilot’s Operating Handbook (POH) or aircraft flight manual; (ii) certified avionics, instruments, or fuel-management systems; (iii) preflight planning and weight-and-balance calculations; (iv) professional training; or (v) the pilot in command’s independent judgment. The App does not and cannot account for all variables, including but not limited to fuel density, temperature, tank geometry, unusable fuel, instrument/calibration errors, fuel flow variation, valve or selector malfunctions, venting anomalies, uncoordinated flight, or emergency conditions.

NO GUARANTEES OR WARRANTIES: The App, its computations (e.g., suggested switch points, estimated totals, or “equal per side” targets), timers, and any outputs or visualizations are provided “AS IS,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Without limitation, the developer disclaims all warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and noninfringement. The App may contain errors, may be affected by device limitations or user inputs, and may fail, freeze, or terminate unexpectedly.

PILOT RESPONSIBILITY: The pilot in command remains solely and fully responsible for all aspects of flight planning and operation, including fuel management, monitoring of engine/airframe instruments, adherence to the POH, fuel quantity verification by approved methods, maintaining legal reserves, crosschecking against independent sources, and executing appropriate checklists and procedures. Use of the App must never supersede certified instruments, the POH, applicable regulations, NOTAMs, Airworthiness Directives, or instructions from ATC or maintenance professionals.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer, contributors, distributors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to the use of or inability to use the App, including but not limited to property damage, loss of use, loss of data, personal injury, or wrongful death, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion or limitation of certain damages; if any limitation is held unenforceable, liability shall be limited to the lesser of the amount actually paid for the App (if any) or one U.S. dollar ($1).

INDEMNIFICATION: By using the App, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the developer and affiliates from and against all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from or related to your use of the App, violation of these terms, or violation of any law or third-party rights.

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: The App is designed for advisory use only and for on-device, offline operation. The App does not provide regulatory compliance, certification, or airworthiness determinations. The App does not perform weight-and-balance, performance calculations, or fuel quality/contamination checks. Always verify fuel quantities by approved, independent methods and maintain legal reserves.

MEDICAL/EMERGENCY DISCLAIMER: The App does not provide emergency guidance. In any abnormal, emergency, or time-critical scenario, disregard the App and follow the POH/Emergency Checklists and ATC instructions.

ACCEPTANCE: By proceeding, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Disclaimer and Terms of Use, and that you are solely responsible for the safe operation of your aircraft. If you do not agree, do not use the App and exit immediately.
